Frequently Asked Questions
When should I book
a Maternity session?
The best time to do Maternity session is in the late second or early third trimester (28-34 weeks) But everyone is different you want to be clearly showing but still feel comfortable.
When should I book a Newborn session?
Booking are best secured in the second trimester. I only take l limited number of booking per month. So I can offer you the best attention for your newborn session. I make a tentative booking from your due date.
Are family and sibling included in the session?
Yes! All of your family is welcome to attended the session. I love to document the generations and create lots of lasting memories for your baby.
Are digital images included in my package?
All packages come with both printed and digital image.
How long will the photoshoot take?
All newborn session are baby lead, if your baby need to cuddling and feeding then we do. This is why I only do one newborn shoot per day, and allow up to four hours for the session.
Are there any payment plans available?
Yes. I offer Afterpay, you can pay in four payments, and I also offer a 3-6 Month interest free payment plan through PayRight. You are also welcome to Lay-by your images.

Hi There!
My name is Deb Gorton,
I am a Newborn Photographer from Andergrove Mackay.
As a passionate Newborn photographer, I am on a mission to make sure that parents aren’t left out!
We all know and hear about a parent’s love, but how often are those emotions captured on camera? So often mums or dads are the ones behind the camera, but I want them to take an opportunity to step out and share in the spotlight with their bub or family. Seeing a parents’ love for their child is one of the great things about my job and forever encasing that on film, so you can relive the moment forever, is even more pleasurable.
I have had a love for photography since 2011 and found my niche as a newborn and baby photographer quickly after this. I understand how important and precious your newborn is. So, I have worked hard to advance my skills through mentorships and by attending newborn photography summits. It is at these summits where I was taught correct techniques for safely handling and posing babies.
As a family photographer, I also love to celebrate your cheeky toddler’s first birthday with them via a cake smash shoot or help you celebrate their unique personalities with a milestone shoot.
